Sorry for the paucity of publishing lately, there have been some things going on.

1.  My Grandpa is in the hospital for some misc. health issues- he should be getting out this weekend, hopefully.

2.  My Grandma is having triple bypass surgery, if they can regulate her blood sugar enough to do so (she has diabetes), which I hope, because she will not survive if they don't do this surgery.

3.  I just found out yesterday that one of my friends from high school, who became a police officer, was killed in the line of duty.  He was one of the nicest guys you could ever know, and he really cared about people.  It feels strange to talk about people in the past tense.  He leaves behind a wife, and three kids under the age of 5.

It's funny, because I am sad, but I don't know if that is appropriate, because I haven't seen him in almost a decade; I am sad, but nothing compared to his family and friends.  I haven't worked it all out in my own mind yet . . .

If you would remember those things in your prayers, I would appreciate it.

I had to work till 9:20 last night at Lipo Heaven, so I get to leave early today to balance it all out! Woot!  Is it 12:30 yet?  Huh? Huh? Huh?  Puhlease, let it be 12:30 soon!  This glimpse of freedom is going to make next week's work terrible, but I don't care.  I am living in the moment, baby, and this girl is going to go to the library, and nap, and spend time with her husband, the minute the clock strikes 12:30.  I feel like painting my face blue, and wearing a kilt, and leading forces against that immortal tyrant, the time clock!

In re-reading this paragraph, I have come to realize I am punch-drunk on prospective freedom.  I am going to go sit in a corner by myself now.
